The heart of any air conditioner is the compressor, this is the unseen component which does all the work. Cheap air conditioners have cheap compressors, therefore they also have a shorter lifespan and lesser cooling ability than other units which use genuine high end components. The KYR-25CO/XC1 uses the same proven Toshiba compressor which is already found in many fully installed air conditioning systems around the world and provides a genuinely powerful cooling experience simply unattainable by similar machines. 

Rattle Free Body.
One of the biggest tell tale signs of a cheap air conditioner is the vibration and annoying rattles that often appear when the machine is running. Thoughtful Extras
The KYR-25CO/XC1 is fairly rare in this price range in that it comes with a 2Mtr exhaust hose as opposed to the standard 1 to 1.5 mtr hoses on other small units. That extra 0.5mtrs makes a huge difference when you are placing the hose out of a window and makes for much more flexible positioning of the machine itself. In addition to this, the unit also comes with a  window kit which is a breeze to use and universally fits most windows. As with all portables, at some point you may need to manually drain a little excess collected moisture from the machine ( although most of this is automatically vented outside through the exhaust hose ) Usually this can be tricky calling for the use of a mug or similar receptacle to catch the water from the drain spout on the rear of the machine. However the KYR-25CO/XC1comes with an ingenious purpose built drainage tray which fits snugly under the rear of the unit and catches the excess moisture when emptying is required without the need for any acrobatics!
