The heart of any air conditioner is the compressor, this is the unseen component which does all the work.. Cheap air conditioners have cheap compressors, therefore they also have a shorter lifespan and lesser cooling ability than other units which use genuine high end components. The KYR-34 uses the same proven Toshiba compressor which is already found in many fully installed air conditioning systems around the world and provides a genuinely powerful cooling experience simply unattainable by similar machines. 

Rattle Free Body.
One of the biggest tell tale signs of a cheap air conditioner is the vibration and annoying rattles that often appear when the machine is running. When you switch on the KYR-34 or the KYR35 Supercool  there are no evident rattles or vibrations from the body itself. The body is constructed using a high quality ABS fixed to an internal steel frame which provides incredible stability and internal noise suppression.

Attention to Detail
The first things that strikes us about this machine is the luxurious way in which the top air vent silently opens electronically before the unit switches on its fan, it is a small detail but one which highlights the quality that becomes evident throughout the whole machine once you begin to using it and discover its full potential. Even the remote control has nice touchy feely rubber buttons which are easy to read and feel comfortable to use.

This potential can be explored via the multi function remote control which has a  crisp clear digital display and allows the user to select all the units many functions including, Cooling, Fan Mode, Timer and even a Dehumidifying mode for dealing with condensation in the winter! This really is a machine that you can  find a use for all twelve months of the year.

Thoughtful Extras
The long 2mtr exhaust hose gives more flexibility with room positioning than the small 1 to 1.5 mtr hoses on other units, in addition to this the Supercool comes with a  window kit which is a breeze to use and universally fits most windows. As with all portables, at some point you may need to manually drain a little excess collected moisture from the machine ( although most of this is automatically vented outside through the exhaust hose ) Usually this can be tricky calling for the use of a mug or similar receptacle to catch the water from the drain spout on the rear of the machine. However the KYR-34CO/XC1comes with an ingenious purpose built drainage tray which fits snugly under the rear of the unit and catches the excess moisture when emptying is required without the need for any acrobatics!

The Toshiba Supercool KYR-34CO/XC1 comes ready to use, simply unbox the unit, plug it in to a normal 13amp socket , attach the hose to a nearby window using the supplied easyfit window kit and you are ready to go!
