The Blueair 403 Air Purifier continues to deliver outstanding performance that has withstood the test of time. Using patented HEPASilent™ technology, it captures 99.97% of the tiniest 0.1 micron particles on level one, including allergy-provoking pollen grains, dust mites, mold spores and pet dander particles.
Class Leading CADR ( Clean Air Delivery ) and Energy Star Certified
This model has a class leading airflow rate of 75-280 cfm, delivering clean, allergen free air in rooms up to 365 square feet (about 18’ x 20’). giving 5 complete air exchanges per hour, and CADR ratings (a measure of contaminant-free air delivered) of 115 for dust, 115 for smoke and 115 for pollen. The energy efficient, eco-friendly 403 consumes just 30-70 watts of electricity and is Energy Star Certified.
Filter Change Notification
The Blueair 403 comes as standard with 3 stages of HEPA filtration for whisper quiet operation and exceptional particle filtration and the recyclable HEPA filter need only be changed once every 6 months. The handy indicator light even flashes to tell remind you when its time to change the Filter! Fitting the new filter is simplicity in itself. Simply open the door on the side casing ( no tools required ), slide out the old filter and pop the new one in - done in seconds!

The air purifier housing is easy to clean, and won't pick up grime and oily stains the way most plastic bodied air purifiers do!
How it works
The Blueair 403 intakes dirty air through the side of the unit. This air is passed through the pre-filter where large particles are trapped, then through the electrostatic HEPA-type filter where the small particles are trapped, and then through the ionization chamber where the air mixes with negative ions. When the air cycles back through the unit, the charged particles cling to the electrostatic filter media. The combined filtration technologies allow the Blueair Air Purifiers to achieve 99.97% filtration efficiency down to .01 microns ( normal Hepa filters only tend to filter down to 0.3 microns).

This version of the 403 with particle filter, is the ideal choice for allergy sufferers and other health-conscious individuals that need high-efficiency particle removal. The unit contains one polypropylene 3-stage progressive filter that contains millions of ultra-thin fibers with each state trapping progressively smaller harmful particles as they pass through the pleats. The Blueair 3-stage progressive filter effectively removes every type of particulate air pollutants, including allergens, pollen, mold spores, dust, pet dander, bacteria, and viruses.

The sister model to this one, the Blueair 403 SmokeStop is the ideal choice for allergy sufferers and other health-conscious individuals that need high-efficiency particle removal plus gas and odor control. The SmokeStop filter is a progressive carbon filter with a honeycomb-type structure that improves airflow and has hundreds of odor and gas absorbing carbon pellets. The filter contains 2.0 lbs of coconut shell activated carbonimpregnated with a 70/30 blend of Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) and Potassium Iodide (KI). The carbon eliminates volatile organic compounds (VOC), which are responsible for odors. The Smoke Stop filter is recommended for use in rooms where heavy gaseous pollutants such as cigarette and cigar smoke or other VOC's are present. You can view the smokestop version here.

Some orders below £50.00 are subject to a small £4.50 P&P to cover costs.
Orders received by 2pm Monday to Friday are shipped same day on a 24hr courier. Orders recieved after 2pm will be shipped the following day to arrive 24hrs after that. Please note that next day delivery relates to working days only. Orders placed before the 2pm cut off on a Friday will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and over the weekend will be shipped on the Monday to arrive on the Tuesday.
