Airborne
particles are measured in microns (One micron = 1/25000 inch or 0.001mm
in diameter)
Most
mechanical filters only collect particles of five micron size and
upwards, like cement dust, pollens and fly ash. Some
of our air cleaners can collect particles down to 0.01 microns
They
remove hazardous, invisible particles like tobbaco smoke, atmospheric
dust, bacteria and even some viruses.
They
reduce the discomfort of hayfever allergies, asthma and tobacco smoke.
They
can remove over 99% of airborne impurities.
The
purification process
1.
Pre-filter. Traps the large particles in the air like dirt and dust.
2.
Ionizer. Electrically charges the smaller particles like smoke and pollen.
3.
Collector. Works like a powerful magnet to attract and retain charged
particles.
4.
Charcoal filter. Helps remove common household odours.
