Where do I begin?

All that is required is for the inside unit to be hung on a wall and the cable fed to the outside unit where it snaps into place. Warning!

Many of the so-called easy install systems offered by high street DIY stores are very low on cooling power and despite powerful claims will struggle to cool anything but the smallest of rooms.
Likewise, there are limitations to where they can be installed.
There is little point in purchasing and installing a fixed system of anything less than 12000Btu's and just as importantly, make sure that you buy a reputable brand that will still be around next year for spares/repair when your warranty has expired.
