Airfree P80 - February 6th 2008

Just to say, delighted and even amazed at how effective the Airfree P80 is. I'm asthmatic and it's been great almost from second day out, quite a revelation. It just demonstrates the degree to which nighttime air affects the whole balance of your system through the day. Airfree P80 - January 4th 2008

I bought a airfree p80 some time ago and to be honest was not expecting much from the unit. We had it downstairs initially as we have a dog and thought that may be a good place to use it, we then re- located it to our bedroom as i felt this would be more beneficial as we are a atopic family ( allergies asthma eczema etc) and symptoms tend to be worse at night. When i accidently turned it off the symptoms of night time coughing etc returned. It is now in my sons room who has had recent worsening of his asthma, and within a week or so his symptoms are now improving, but as its not in my room now we have found a return of our symptoms! I am now considering having one in each of our bedrooms as i truly believe that these do have positive effects and can reduce the symptoms that are associated with asthma and allergies etc. I would recommend anyone who is considering the purchase of an air purifyer to consider the p80. This is a safe tested option that has no side effects, so safe for children and no extra costs of replacing filters etc. Debbie Appleton 4th January 2008

Airfree P80 - October 25th 2007

thanks for sending us our new Airfree. Last year we bought our first one for the living/diningroom area and were impressed by the difference it made, noticeably fresher smelling rooms and less dust (I also keep a big fruitbowl on the table and never have to throw fruit away).  We use the new one in the bedroom and it works really well here, too. Airfree P80 - October 8th 2007

We purchased the P80 3 weeks ago for our sons bedroom. He is now 10 years old and has suffered continously from coughs for the last 3 years and this has resulted in him having time off school. I have been to the doctors on numerous occasions with Daniel to no avail other than the doctors giving him inhalers, nasal sprays and being advised that he may grow out of it. I spoke to David from Breathing Space and he advised me to give the P80 a try, it took about 2 weeks and now Daniel sleeps through the night without waking up coughing, this has made a huge difference to Daniel as he is not tired in the morning when he wakes up. I just felt i had to write to you and tell you that my husband gave up smoking a week before going to a smoking clinic. When he had to breath in to the machine they could not believe it there was no co2 in his body, they said that he must live in a clean inviroment as even a non smoker would have something like nought to ten depending where they live. Well i can only say it must be the purifier, we have one in the sitting room and one in the bedroom and when we can afford it we would like one in the hallway because this test just proves to me they work, eveyone says how fresh our house smells thankyou . Fantastic! We purchased a P80 air purifier 3 weeks ago for my 4 year old daughter's bedroom. She suffers with atopic eczema and has sleepless nights, particularly during these summer months. Ever since the purifier arrived she hasn't woken itching or scratching once; even when it has been warm. The difference is amazing! My daughter came in hot and itchy from Nursery the other day and within half an hour of being in her bedroom with her purifier, her skin had totally calmed down and her scratching had ceased - without any creams or medications!! " My son has suffered with mild asthma for the last 4 years, he is currently on medication which alleviates the symptoms. His main difficulty has been sleeping, he constantly suffers with a chesty cough during the night this disturbs his sleep about 5 - 6 times a night. After years of sleepless nights and no real help from our GP or the hospital I decided to perform my own internet research, I discovered that such symptoms are mainly caused by airborne particles such as mould spores and dust mites. Something had to be done. Then I stumbled upon breathing space, I poke to David who recommended an airfree product (P125); at £199 it seemed expensive but he assured me it could vaporize much of the airborne particles within 2 weeks.   It actually started to work straight away. We first noticed something an immediate change in our sons room as the little stale boy smell disappeared with 24 hours. Airfree P80

As a Physician specialising in allergy and environmental medicine, I am very impressed with the Airfree Air Steriliser for the purpose of removing molds and their spores from the air we breathe. These sterilisers work by using localised heat to sterilise the indoor air and encourage the circulation of cleaned air throughout the room. It does not require filters. This last point is important as all air filtration systems eventually block up with dust and mold, and this has the long-term effect of redistributing the molds throughout the room and is counterproductive. As a sufferer from an allergy to mold, I am very impressed with this machine as a way of keeping the air free of allergens. As a result of using an Airfree Steriliser in my bedroom for the last three months, I no longer wake up with depression and cold shakes from the mold spores that one would otherwise breath during the night. This is a vast improvement. (I understand that it takes about 6 weeks for the Airfree to have its full effect, presumably because it has to sterilise the air in the room over a period of time. In this connection one should not move it from room to room, it is better left static in one place where it will work its magic.) I also installed an Airfree in my kitchen, which I consider to be a natural mold trap because of the steam from cooking and various vegetable items which are kept in the environment. I have noticed that since the Airfree was installed, my basil plants now survive instead of dying instantly, and that they are not afflicted with mold, either on the earth or on their leaves. They even survive having bits taken off in the usual way and are thriving. Also my onions don't go mouldy. Overall I feel the Airfree has contributed greatly to the reduction in the mold count in parts of my house (in which there was previously a problem due to the damp British climate.) It has also contributed to an increase in my mental and physical energy and stamina. I can wholeheartedly recommend this machine for anybody with a serious allergy to mold and other airborne allergens. Also I recommend it to my patients with this problem. As a longstanding allergy sufferer from Dust Mites, Hayfever and many other things I think the product is fantastic. I have it plugged in my bedroom and whenever I am suffering I can go in that room and within about 20 minutes I am 100% better, even with the window open, where in the past I had to close the house up and lie in a dark room for hours to feel better. I also suffer from a certain amount of mould during the damp winter months so I am now expecting great things of the product on that front too. L.G England

After several years of worsening pain, I made the decision to have my hips replaced. This required two separate operations and two separate hospitalizations. My surgeon indicated the greatest danger was not the surgery, but the risk of infection while recuperating in the hospital. Accordingly, I discussed the use of an Airfree unit with him. The result was that on both occasions, I took an Airfree machine with me to the hospital and came through without so much as a hiccup. I live in a one-bedroom condo in an older building on Miami Beach, with my girlfriend. Since moving there we have always experienced a large amount of dust and other particles circulating around the condo. We currently have the Air Free in our living-room where our 10 Week old English Bulldog puppy hangs out in. Let me tell you the Air Free has made a huge difference. No smell and no more dust. The best part about the Air Free is that its completely silent. We are definitely interested in getting another one to put in our bedroom.
