Top Tips on Air Conditioners

Choosing the right air conditioner for your home or office can be a bit of a lottery!
Below we have asked our office staff to offer their own little pearls of wisdom  on the subject picked up through years of providing air conditioners to homes and offices throughout the country.

 Lyn Says:
″Don't rely on so called 'cooling calculators' to work out the amount of cooling (BTU's) required for your room. These are too general and do not take into account that every home or office is different. Without doubt the best way to choose which air conditioner will be right for you is to call and talk it through with someone who can listen and then point you in the right direction″.

 David Says:
" Generally you get what you pay for. You can buy an air conditioner for around £150.00 but don't expect it to be quiet, long lasting or very powerful. More often than not these sound great on the advert but fall way short on quality when you get them out the box. That said however, just because a unit is £650.00 or more doesn't make it the best. There are some fabulous machines out there around the £300-£400 mark.
