Choosing an Air Purifier for Smokers

You should choose an air purifier which contains a Hepa filter, however it MUST also have a proper 'granulated' carbon filter.

Granular Carbon is the only thing that will adsorb the smell of the tobacco. As a general rule the more carbon in the filter the better the tobacco smoke removal.

If you want genuinely unbeatable tobacco smoke removal, then the Airgle AG600 and AG900 units are the cream of the crop, and in our opinion are probably the best in the world. However, this type of performance comes at a price and may not be for everyone's pocket!

Another excellent choice, which offers sublime performance and value for money is the Blueair CP7i  which like the Airgle, has a steel casing and also comes with a 5 year warranty.  The CP7i uses upgraded carbon in the filter and when added to the Hepasilent Technology and superior CADR ( clean air delivery rates ) it delivers, it is easy to see why Blueair machines are so highly rated.

As a less expensive alternative for smaller rooms also consider the stylish Roger from Swiss Style Gurus Stadler Form. To view the whole range of suitable alternatives visit our Air Purifiers For Smoke and Odour removal section.
