The new Classic 405 uses Blueair's patented HEPASilent Technology to remove virtually all airborne pollutants in medium size rooms up to 40m2. Using the best in electrostatic and mechanical filtration, the HEPASilent Technology is a revolutionary combination of advanced filter media and an encapsulated particle-charging chamber. Theuniquedesign enables all Blueair purifiers to achieve 99.97% filtration efficiency, all the way down to .01 micron. Most Hepa filters only trap particles down to 0.3 micron. The smaller particles trapped by the Blueair technology mean that your room will be continually protected from much more of the most hazardous smaller particles like viruses and bacteria than it would be with basic hepa filtration.
In touch with your clean air.
Touch sensitive easy-to-read LED icons let you see the status of your air purifier’s Wi-Fi connection, operating speed and filter status. Adjusting operation is simple, Just touch. Downloading the free Blueair Friend app will also enable you to control the new Classic via WiFi from afar using any smart device. (Don't worry if you are not interested in the WiFi functionality, the 405 can also be fully controlled using only the LED Icons on the top of the machine!)
Want to see even more detailed information on your indoor air quality?
Linking your Classic 405 to the optional Blueair Aware monitor via Wifi will also enable you to see detailed information about your actual indoor air quality on your smart device app and access outdoor air quality data in real time in most major urban areas too. Alternatively, consider the Classic 480i model which has this feature and air quality sensors already built-in as standard.
Quiet Performance.
A perfect choice for medium to large rooms, the Classic 405 packs quite a punch, cleaning the air in rooms up to 40m2 up to five times an hour ( that's one complete air change every twelve minutes). The unit is also extremely quiet in operation. Although its lowest in class noise levels make it ideal for bedrooms, it is also perfect for other living areas areas and work spaces to get rid of airborne pollutants like allergens, pollen,dust, smoke, traffic pollution and mold spores.
