If the air quality deteriorates, the air quality indicator lets you know by changing colour. If the intelligent auto mode is also activated, Roger's cleaning performance will be adjusted automatically. The more polluted the air, the higher his chosen level of performance will be. The well-designed air purifier also has two washable, textile pre-filters – as well as an integrated Sanitized® hygiene function.

At the heart of the air purifier are two Dual Filters™ which are a combination of a HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. The highly efficient HEPA filters remove pollutants such as fine dust, allergens, pollen, viruses and bacteria from the air while the activated carbon filter adsorbs gases and other VOC's. Besides a timer function, night mode and wheels for easy transportation which enable him to be moved around, Roger big’s impressive features also include WiFi: you can monitor the air quality and control all his functions via an app so that clean and healthy room air is always guaranteed!

CADR 736 m3/h
The CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) indicates the volume of purified air that the air purifier can produce. The value is determined by means of independent laboratory tests based on the AHAM standard. Higher CADR values mean that the air purifier can be recommended for larger spaces. The CADR is measured in cubic metres of air per hour. Roger Plus is suitable for rooms of up to 104 m2 and changes the air 3 times per hour. For heavily contaminated room air and for allergy sufferers, Roger is recommended for rooms of up to 62 m2 – with an air change rate of 5 times per hour.

Polluted indoor air
The air indoors is 2–5 times more polluted than the air outside. We spend approx. 90% of our time indoors and are constantly exposed to this pollution. Typical impurities are volatile organic compounds (e.g. formaldehyde), fine and suspended dust, unpleasant odours as well as viruses and bacteria. Allergy sufferers are also troubled by pollen and the excrement of dust mites. Optimally purified air leads to a great sense of wellbeing, improved vitality, and fewer illnesses. Roger, Roger little and Roger Plus provide the perfect help to free the air of pollutants.

Air quality indicator
Roger continually displays the current air quality. He measures the air with gas and particle sensors and the LED indicator light lets you know if the quality deteriorates by changing its colour (blue = good, orange = medium, red = poor).

Pre-filters
The textile pre-filters remove coarse dust particles and pollutants from the air. By doing this, they protect the two Dual Filters™ and prolong their service life. The integrated Sanitized®** hygiene function protects the pre-filters against microbial growth. The textile pre-filters can be washed at 30 °C on a cold wash delicate cycle. The antimicrobial protection is guaranteed for at least 20 washes. Based on normal use, we recommend washing the pre-filters every 3 months while allergy sufferers are recommended to wash them once a month.

Dual Filter™ technology
The Dual Filter™ is the heart of the air purifier. It is a combination of a HEPA filter (H12) and an activated carbon filter. The HEPA filters remove pollutants out of the air, such as fine dust, pollen, viruses and bacteria. Roger big bears the ECARF quality seal and is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. The activated carbon filter adsorbs gases present in the air (bad odours, tobacco smoke, formaldehyde, toluene, volatile organic compounds, etc.) and filters them out of the air.

Filter exchange
The capacity of the two Dual Filter™ is limited, which means that they must be replaced every 8–12 months, depending on their exposure to air and gases. Thanks to the intelligent filter timer, Roger big shows exactly when the filters need to be replaced.

Filtering of particles, especially viruses
Roger big’s Dual Filters™ produced convincing results during the TÜV test (particle cleaning test). Roger big filters 100% of 0.255-micrometre particles (tested based on DIN standard 71460-1:2006). For comparison: a human hair is 80 micrometres thick. So, the filtered particles are 313 times smaller. An additional test confirmed: air purifier Roger big efficiently filters 99.9% of all influenza A viruses*** and aerosols from the air in 60 minutes (tested in a 28 m3 test chamber).

Device control via an app (Wi-Fi)
Roger big is equipped with Wi-Fi and can be controlled via the smartphone app «Smart Life – Smart Living». The air quality can be monitored and controlled via the app which enables all Roger big’s functions to be controlled in real time. An additional child protection function which is only available via the app deactivates the buttons on the device for a chosen period of time.
