Clean air, without the compromise
Most air purifiers ask you to choose between performance and noise. The Blue Max 3250i does not. Blueair's HEPASilent technology combines mechanical and electrostatic filtration to move more air, more quietly, using less energy than running a standard LED bulb. At its lowest setting it draws just 2.5 watts. At night mode it drops to 18 dB(A) — quieter than a whisper.
The four layer filter inside the 3250i captures the full range of common indoor pollutants: fine particles, dust mites, pollen, pet dander, bacteria, viruses and mould. A layer of activated coconut shell carbon takes care of household odours and smoke. Blueair's patented foldable filter design gives you a large surface area in a compact footprint, which means more particles trapped per pass and a longer filter life. Under normal 24 hour use you can expect the main filter to last between six and nine months — around 50% longer than the previous Blue generation.
Smart, but not complicated
The 3250i connects to the Blueair app and works with Amazon Alexa. Auto mode reads real time PM2.5 particle levels and adjusts fan speed accordingly, with a five colour LED ring showing you the current air quality at a glance. If you prefer not to think about it at all, the geofencing feature can switch the purifier on as you approach home and off when you leave. There is also a scheduling function and outdoor air quality data pulled into the app so you can see what is coming before it arrives.
On the unit itself, control is deliberately simple: one button for power and speed, one for auto mode, child lock and night mode. Nothing superfluous.
Designed to live in your home
The Blue Max 3250i comes with a Stockholm Fog (dark grey) fabric pre filter as standard. Four additional colourways are available separately: Hälsinge Moss (green), Västkust Sand (pink), Gotland Limestone (beige) and Kattegatt Seabed (blue). These are not just decorative — the premium fabric catches larger particles like dust, lint and pet hair before they reach the main filter, extending its life further. When the pre filter needs cleaning, machine wash it at 40°C or give it a vacuum.
The 360° air intake and compact footprint mean placement is flexible. There is no need to position it against a wall or away from furniture — it draws from all sides equally.
