The EcorPro Industrial desiccant dehumidifier is designed to take away excess moisture quickly and efficiently in a multitude of commercial or industrial processes. Often used by flood & water damage professionals and also to maintain humidity control in museums¸ research laboratories¸ dry air storage and small production and manufacturing processes.
The DDH2500 can be used to dry the air in two different ways.
Drying option one.
Simply position the unit in the area you wish to dry and duct away the warm wet air out through a slightly open window or doorway.
The air can be ducted with any generic 'tumble dryer' type exhaust hose of 80mm diameter and this can be up to three metres long without the unit suffering any lack of performance. It is possible to duct even longer distances if required. Using a duct length of six metres will not damage the DDH2500, but simply reduce the overall performance by around 5%.
Drying Option Two.
Alternatively¸ the KDHBD2500 can be placed outside the room and the dry air outlet at the front of the unit can be used to duct dry air into the room. The warm wet air can again be ducted away or be left outside the room or area needed to be dried. Up to a 3 metre outlet hose will not reduce performance and again any length longer lengths of hose can be added but with a slight reduction in performance. Both 125mm & 80mm are standard 'tumble dryer' hose diameters.
