There's cosy, and then there's sinking into the sofa under a huge, soft faux fur throw that's warming you through. The Duux Yentl is the second kind.
It's big. At 200 x 200cm there's room to curl up properly with your feet tucked in, or to share with someone on a cold night, so nobody ends up with the corner. The faux fur is very soft, and it has a textured pattern that looks lovely draped over a sofa or across the end of a bed, even with the heat switched off.
Nine heat settings let you choose a gentle warmth or something properly toasty, and the controller makes it easy to change your mind as the evening goes on.
You won't need to remember to turn it off, either. The timer runs for up to nine hours and then switches it off automatically, so nodding off on the sofa isn't a worry. Overheat protection is built in as well, giving you extra peace of mind.
Warming yourself rather than the whole house is a sensible way to take the edge off winter heating bills too. At 200W, it uses a fraction of what a typical heater would.
When it needs freshening up, unclip the controller and it's washable.
