HEPASilent Ultra™

HEPASilent Ultra™ is our most advanced filtration technology ever, which allows the air purifier to deliver more clean air with less noise and less energy. This technology combines electrostatic and mechanical filtration to remove 99,97% of airborne particles such as allergens, dust, pollen, dander, viruses & bacterias, mold, VOCs, and odors. The activated natural coconut carbon has a large adsorbent surface area, and is used to effectively remove VOCs, chemicals, and unpleasant household odors. HEPASilent Ultra™ delivers 50% more clean air, uses 55% less energy and has a 10% lower noise than traditional true HEPA filtration.

GermShield™

Even when your air purifier is on standby, GermShield™ technology proactively monitors your room and kills viruses and bacteria on the filters using low air draft and plasma charging. A gentle stream of air then ensures no new growth of germs.

Whisper silent

The HealthProtect™ range uses HEPASilent Ultra™ filtration technology to deliver its powerful performance  – quieter than a whisper. HEPASilent Ultra™ has a 10% lower noise than traditional true HEPA filtration. Quieter than a whisper 25 dB(A) on the lowest setting and normal conversation 45 dB(A) on the highest.

Low energy usage

The HEPASilent Ultra™ technology delivers more clean air with 55% less energy than traditional true HEPA filtration. This means that even on the highest setting, the HealthProtect™ air purifier only uses 43 watts, while in the lowest fan speed is only uses 9W.

Auto Mode / Stepless fan speed operation

Selecting Auto mode means that your HealthProtect™ air purifier will automatically adjust when pollution levels creep up. With stepless, variable-speed operation, the fan increases smoothly to the right speed based on the sensor readings and slows down when the air is clean again. This ensures that your air purifier is always running at the perfect speed needed to maintain the air purity in your home.

Truly smart filter design and technolgy

RFID technology automatically resets the filter indicator when a new filter is inserted. Due to the smart filters we can ensure maximum performance of the unit, since we know that an original Blueair filter is inserted. Due to the booklet design of the SmartFilter Ultra, the user can simply close the filter like a book, capturing all dust and germs on the inside. The main filters are easily accessed through opening the door on the right side. Simply pull out the booklet filter by pulling the green tabs. With SmartFilter you can be assured to have clean air delivered to your home for up to 1 year. The smart sensor algorithm accurately calculates how polluted the air is and tells you when it's time to change the filter (6-12 months).

Efficient pre-filtration

HealthProtect™ comes with cleanable pre-filters, which conveniently pop-out for quick maintenance and cleaning, to significantly extend the lifetime of the main filter.

Connected Experience with Blueair app

Designed with smart features like Clean air ETA and real-time pollutant tracking, you can be sure your air is always clean. As a user you will have a visual reassurance of the air cleaning progress and estimated time until the air in the room is clean, all thanks to Blueair's uniquely developed algorithm that’s tracking multiple parameters in real time. You will also have a dedicated Filter page in the app that will always display filter lifetime and it will guide you on how to order a new filter and how to replace it. With Welcome home feature, the air purifier will start cleaning the air when you are close to getting home in order to welcome you to a healthy home environment, whilst saving energy by not working all day.

*AHAM
AHAM certified room size is the size of room in which the air purifier can provide a full five air changes per hour. Therefore refreshing all of the air in the room through its filters once every twelve minutes.This is more relevant than 'maximum' room size which does not reflect an air purifiers genuine effective capability. Always be sure to only use the 'AHAM certified' room size for true comparison purposes.

**CADR
CADR stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate and is an actual measurement of the amount of filtered air provided by the machine.This is the only true way to compare like for like between air purifiers when assessing how powerful they are. CADR is not the same as air volume which will always appear higher due to the fact that it is only a measurement of the units fan power (with no filter Installed).

***Carbon Filters
Carbon filters remove chemical fumes including VOC's, traffic combustion gases, pet odours, tobacco smoke and many more gaseous pollutants.However not all carbon filters are the same. Basic carbon 'sheet' filters are generally lightweight and have little capacity to adsorb these pollutants effectively. On the other hand filters containing actual carbon 'granules' are infinitely more effective and should always be chosen over carbon sheets where the most effective gaseous pollutant removal is required.
