The ComboFilter does not only have a particle filter, it also contains carbon particles integrated throughout the filter media to effectively remove fine particles, dust, gas and VOCs from the air. There are two filters, placed each at the top and bottom of the air purifier to ensure optimal removal. The electrostatic charged particles stick to the filters efficiently, and the activated carbon integrated in the filters adsorbs any odors and gases.

Due to the use of both electrostatic and mechanical filtration, the filter media in Blueair filters is less dense than comparable media. Lower density enables air to move through the filter at a lower pressure, so you get high performance with a whisper-silent delivery of clean air.

Up to 1 year filter lifetime

The ComboFilter can last to a maximum of one year, depending on room conditions. When it's time to replace the filter, the Blueair app will send you an alert and allow you to re-order at the touch of a button.

Charged pre-filters 

Positively charged pre-filters act like a magnet, attracting the negatively charged dust particles. The pre-filters are cleanable, which conveniently pop-out for quick maintenance and cleaning, to significantly extend the lifetime of the main filter.
