Your Leitz TruSens Z-1000 is only as good as the filter inside it. These genuine DuPont™ replacement filters are engineered to maintain the performance your purifier was designed to deliver — trapping the particles and odours that matter most to you, and keeping the air in your home healthy day after day.
The Z-1000 uses a 360-degree drum filter that draws air in from all directions. At its core is a True HEPA layer independently certified to capture a minimum of 99.95% of ultrafine particles as small as 0.1 microns — that includes dust, pollen, mould spores, bacteria and more. Wrapped around that is an activated carbon layer that tackles odours and gases before they ever reach the HEPA stage.
What makes these filters genuinely useful is the ability to tailor them to your home. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, there are three specialty options alongside the standard filter — each built around a specific air quality challenge:
Pets — If you share your home with animals, this is the one. The Pet filter is optimised to capture pet dander and hair, and its carbon layer is specifically formulated to neutralise animal odours. It includes a removable, washable prefilter for easier maintenance.
Allergy & Flu — Designed for those who suffer with hay fever, dust allergies or who want additional protection during cold and flu season. This filter prioritises the capture of airborne allergens and viruses, making it a smart choice if respiratory sensitivity is a concern in your household.
Odour & VOC — The most carbon-intensive of the three. Built with three layers of activated carbon pellets, this filter is engineered to tackle cooking smells, cleaning product fumes and airborne VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) such as formaldehyde, ammonia and acetone — the invisible by-products of everyday home life.
All specialty filters share the same 360-degree HEPA drum architecture and do not affect the room coverage of your purifier. The carbon layer should be replaced every 3–4 months; the HEPA drum typically lasts 12–15 months. Your purifier's indicator light will tell you when it's time.
